Who's behind this
AI Search Ready is a Welsh-built tool with one job: telling UK businesses whether AI assistants — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Grok — actually recommend them when buyers ask, and exactly what to fix when they don't.
Why we built it
We run Dyfyn Studios, a Cardiff studio that rebuilds business websites to be cited by AI search. Dyfyn is the Welsh verb “to cite” — we named the company after the problem. Doing that work taught us two things. First, most owners have no idea whether AI mentions them at all; there was no honest, affordable way to check. Second, the technical fixes are provable in days, but the citations they earn arrive months later — and nobody in the industry was measuring that gap. So we built the measuring instrument, first for our own clients, then as the tool you're using now.
How we work
Everything here is measured, not guessed. The free check scores your site on 40+ technical signals — the same signals we check before quoting remediation work. The citation audit doesn't simulate anything: it asks the real models your buyers' real questions, live, and records who gets named. When the answer is “not you”, we show you who won and why.
We're also blunt about limits. New citations typically take two to four months to follow the fixes, because AI engines re-crawl on their own schedules. Anyone promising faster is guessing — which is precisely why this tool exists.
